Therapeutic Focus & Application

I am a holistic, trauma-informed therapist, working with adult individuals to address symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal issues, substance use, and abuse, and with individuals who are on the autism spectrum and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I use a Narrative framework, in addition to CBT and DBT when clinically appropriate. My focus is on the client’s relationship to their experiences, strengths, and issues/symptoms. In addition to our depth-work, I provide coping skills and activities based on your needs and to reduce distressful symptoms.

Trauma impacts each individual uniquely, and through the process of putting language to experiences, values, and beliefs, clients can discover and explore their strengths and find empowerment in the healing process. I will partner with you in this therapeutic journey with honesty, vulnerability, and support.

I consider it an honor each time I am invited to hear clients’ stories, pain, celebrations, and ongoing healing. My therapeutic style is warm, open, and built on trust, respect, and feelings of safety throughout the therapy process. I look forward to hearing from you!

I have 2 cats (who may appear in the background of telehealth sessions) and enjoy time in nature, specifically during springtime. I enjoy collecting and growing plants, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
